Manufacturing Production Planner

Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Production Planner to join its San Jose, CA Team! The Manufacturing Production Planner ensures the production process goes smoothly by making sure all of the appropriate parts are in place and ready to go.

Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Production Planner:

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of the company's products
• Evaluating raw materials to ensure everything is in place for production
• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
• Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
• Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Collaborates and communicates effectively with Purchasing, Quality Control, Warehouse, Production, and other departments to schedule and fulfill customer orders

Qualifications of a Manufacturing Production Planner:

• Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control
• Math and analytical skills
• Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Deadline driven
