Asbestos Supervisor

Job Description Supervises and provides asbestos abatement, remediation and demolition services to numerous iSi customers in accordance with applicable regulations and in a manner that will meet facility required production rates. Position Responsibilities Supervise and perform asbestos abatement, remediation, demolition and other projects using a variety of techniques Supervise a team of 1-2 leads and 5-10 laborers, handling minor personnel issues Perform air sampling and submit cassettes and air sheets in a timely manner Perform work in accordance with State and Federal regulations Supervise and perform lead abatement activities as needed Ensure employee compliance with safety policies and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ensure safe operation of power tools, lifts, motor vehicles, and other equipment Conduct daily toolbox safety meetings with crew personnel Enforce safety policies and train new hires for compliance Operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable regulations Develop knowledge of client facilities and operations Provide customer service to client representatives and regulatory agencies Track usage of supplies and equipment Inspect and track crew work Complete required project paperwork, such as timesheets, JSA’s, and safety meetings and submit in a timely manner Submit required paperwork to Accounting Department for monthly expense tracking Provide additional support as needed Knowledge Skills and Abilities 2-3 years prior experience in asbestos abatement 5 years prior supervisory experience, supervising crew of up to 10 people Strong knowledge of KDHE regulations Strong ability to work safely with equipment Excellent problem-solving skills Strong team player Regular attendance and punctuality Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record #J-18808-Ljbffr Integrated Solutions, Inc. dba iSi Environmental
