Production Team Leader

Reporting to the Operations Manager, our client is recruiting a Production Team Leader to support the day to day running of the production operations, helping to ensure safe, efficient and consistent manufacturing performance. The role provides visible, hands‑on leadership to production operatives and deputises for the Operations Manager when formally requested. It supports delivery of the production plan, product quality, safety, people coordination, waste reduction and continuous improvement, while maintaining strong operational discipline across the site. Roles and Responsibilites include Production and operational support Process monitoring and quality control Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations Strong attention to quality, safety, and operational standards Positive and proactive approach to problem solving Ability to work effectively within a team environment Good communication and organisational skills Commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high workplace standards Willingness to learn and develop supervisory skills within a manufacturing environment Experience Required Experience working in a manufacturing, production or similarly process-driven environment Practical understanding of safe systems of work, quality controls and operational procedures Experience of coordinating colleagues, allocating work or providing day-to-day team leadership Ability to interpret production priorities, identify issues and take appropriate action within agreed authority Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to give instructions and evolve concerns Good organisational skills, accuracy in record keeping and a consistent approach to standards Willingness and ability to work flexibly in line with production and absence-cover requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
