AR Specialist

LHH is partnering with a well-established and growing real estate company on this exciting Accounts Receivable Coordinator position. This role will support mainly residential portfolios and is responsible for the day-to-day receivables process, including tenant account management, cash applications, and billing support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate AR and the ability to manage multiple properties and tenant accounts in a fast-paced environment. This position is fully onsite in offices in Midtown Manhattan.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post rent payments, checks, ACH, and wire transfers
  
• Apply payments accurately to tenant ledgers
  
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure accurate deposit tracking
  

• Maintain and reconcile tenant accounts, including charges, adjustments, and balances
  
• Respond to tenant inquiries related to billing and account activity
  

• Review lease agreements to ensure proper billing setup and accuracy
  
• Post recurring rent charges, additional rent, and billing adjustments
  

• Track and manage security deposits, refunds, and reconciliations
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience within real estate (commercial or residential)
  
• Strong understanding of tenant billing, rent cycles, and lease structures
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
