SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

Job TitleInformation Management/Information Technology Program ManagerResponsibilities:Direct and manage all aspects of the Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) program for the Major Subordinate Command (MSC), providing authoritative advice and guidance on enterprise IT supporting Civil Works and Military Programs.Coordinate the command's IT cyber readiness posture by overseeing related cybersecurity requirements, policies, and strategies to ensure the security and integrity of information systems.Exercise full responsibility for the fiscal management and execution of IM/IT resources across the command. This includes preparing and managing IT investment portfolios, allocating resources, and justifying all IT expenditures.Function as a supervisor to IT personnel and as a higher-level reviewer for District IT chiefs. This involves assigning and evaluating work, approving training, handling employee relations, and making hiring decisions.Initiate and direct studies to develop long-range IM/IT plans and policies. Provide recommendations to senior leadership on major technical solutions and alternative courses of action.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, Department of Defense (DoD), and Department of the Army (DA) regulations for IT acquisitions and Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) reporting.Serve as the primary point of contact for the command's enterprise IT performance and represent the command in high-level meetings to negotiate solutions and ensure cooperation on IT-related issues.
