Creative Writer / Strategist - Global Pharmaceutical Company Long term contract Hybrid- 3 days onsite/2 days remote- No Flex Our client, a global pharmaceutical company in the Northern suburbs is seeking a Creative Writer/Strategist. This individual will be a prat of "The Creative Agency" which is one of three internal agencies, supporting Corporate, R&D, and Commercial teams. This role combines writing and strategy, with a primary focus on internal communications, meetings, events, and company-wide initiatives. The writer will develop both long- and short-form content across a variety of communications and creative projects. Responsibilities: Develop short- and long-form content, including themes, taglines, speaker presentations, and messaging for meetings and events. Other Items may include: Collaborate with Creative Director, Designers, Account Team, and external Create pre-event and post-event communications. Develop patient and employee stories, award programs, training initiatives, and team-building communications. Partner closely with the Creative Director to develop and execute creative direction. Support occasional external communications related to trade shows and similar events. Collaborate with a 16-person creative team that includes Creative Directors, Art Directors, motion designers, and editors. Ideal Candidate: A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and navigating ambiguity. A strong writer and strategist with experience creating both long- and short-form content. Able to translate creative direction into compelling messaging for internal communications, events, and company-wide initiatives. Qualifications: BA/BS in English, Journalism, or Communications. 5-7 years of writing experience within a design firm, advertising agency, in-house corporate department and/or freelance business. Proven talent and understanding of creative media to determine the best method to portray a creative concept. Expertise in Microsoft Office and awareness of trends in digital and print communications. Excellent communication skills: Written, presentation and oral that persuade and gain understanding and alignment with others in a professional tone. #LI-AI1 #LI-Hybrid The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
