Registered Nurse Telemetry

Position Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry Schedule 32 Hours, Days/Eve/Night Shifts, Every Other Weekend Position Summary The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care for patients across all age groups, tailoring treatment to specific impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non‑English speaking, and abuse victims. The RN incorporates patient rights, the institution’s mission, vision and values into practice and assumes full responsibility for the quality of nursing care. Responsibilities include health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, restoring optimal functioning and providing dignified end‑of‑life care as needed. The RN may delegate nursing tasks to other registered nurses or health‑care personnel, bearing full responsibility for patient outcomes. The RN must maintain excellent assessment, clinical, organizational skills, computer knowledge and charge capabilities, and be able to lift, transfer and move patients. Qualifications Excellent assessment and clinical skills. Strong organizational and computer skills. Capability to lift, transfer & move patients. Effective verbal & written communication in English. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for treatment protocols. Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); must obtain BSN within 4 years. License/Certifications: Current RN MA license, ACLS + BLS required. Experience: 1–2 years acute Med/Surg; telemetry experience preferred. Compensation $38.10–$77.63 per hour. Compensation is based on education, experience, licensure and relevant certifications.
