Senior Revenue Accountant

Under minimal supervision, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage various accounting duties including preparing journal entries, conducting financial analyses, and monitoring general ledger accounts, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Prepare and review monthly journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accurate recording of financial activities Analyze budget variances and prepare quarterly and annual regulatory filings in compliance with state and federal regulations Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and provide training to junior accounting staff Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Five years of related experience in a computerized accounting environment Proven knowledge of accounting principles and systems for maintaining general ledgers and preparing financial statements Ability to conduct complex analyses of accounting issues and systems Experience in developing and improving accounting procedures and processes
