Senior Revenue Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
To ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606, oversee monthly revenue close processes, and collaborate cross-functionally in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Own and execute revenue recognition activities, including assessment of complex customer contracts and deal structures Perform and oversee monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses Lead monthly analytical reviews to identify revenue trends and communicate recommended actions to stakeholders Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5-7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or technical accounting Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to complex scenarios Experience with ERP and billing systems; familiarity with Sage Intacct and/or BillingPlatform is a plus Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities during close cycles
