Shipping Manager

The Shipping Manager oversees daily shipping and packaging operations in a warehouse distribution environment. This role leads the Shipping Department team, ensuring orders are packed correctly, shipped on time, and meet all customer and compliance requirements. The manager supervises shipping associates, improves operational efficiency, and collaborates with leadership to support company operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate shipping associates Ensure shipments are packed, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time Maintain compliance with R2, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards Track shipment data including weight, charges, damages, and discrepancies Investigate late, damaged, or incorrect shipments and resolve issues Monitor inventory accuracy during packaging and identify root causes of discrepancies Improve processes for efficiency, safety, and productivity Maintain warehouse operational logs and documentation Participate in Health & Safety Committee activities Conduct performance reviews and manage performance improvement plans Collaborate with leadership and internal departments to support operations Core Skills & Competencies Leadership and team development Problem solving and operational analysis Understand and complies with Haz‑Mat shipping requirements Organization and attention to detail Ability to maintain a professional and positive team environment Supervisory Responsibility Manages all employees within the Shipping Department, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling. Warehouse environment with some outdoor exposure Uses office equipment and warehouse tools (computers, pallet jacks, forklifts, ladders, etc.) Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally 100+ lbs Schedule 8AM-5PM+ M-F Occasional evening or weekend work may be required Some travel may be required Qualifications 5+ years warehouse shipping/receiving experience preferred Experience with shipping or transportation software (UPS, etc.) Ability to work 45–50 hours per week when required Additional Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States Must Read Write and Speak English Mannapov LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
