REGISTERED NURSE - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Schedule Full-time. Night shift: 6:45pm-7:15am. JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Behavioral Health nursing department. The RN provides and manages nursing care for patients and their families using the nursing process, independent judgment, and collaboration with all team members, including ancillary and support services. The RN develops and implements nursing care plans and clinical pathways under supervision, delegates patient care activities based on patient needs and team skills, evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, revises the plan as needed, monitors progress, and prepares patients for discharge. REQUIREMENTS Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (required). Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Less than 2 years of prior hospital and/or behavioral health experience (preferred, required). Registered Nurse (RN) license. CPR – AHA Healthcare Provider certification.
