Have previous collegiate basketball experience either playing or coaching. Standard office machines; computer skills. Preferred Additional or other related experience. Knowledge of Synergy Sports Tech, word processing, database, and spreadsheet computer program skills. Primary Responsibilities Summary Function: Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the Lonestar Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for women’s basketball. Scope: The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Women’s Basketball coach, and will work closely with the student‑athletes at SRSU. Duties Assist in practice and game planning and preparation. Assist in recruiting prospective student‑athletes. Support student‑athlete success on the court and in the classroom. Hospitality and travel management. Help set up and tear down game operations. And other duties as assigned. Supervision Received: Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. This position is security sensitive.
