Quick Facts Location: Dallas, TX (5200 Harry Hines Boulevard) Start Date: 06/21/2024 (or upon approval) End Date/Duration: Ongoing employment opportunity Shift: Typical clinic hours, flexible schedule Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certifications: Board Certified in Internal Medicine Experience: Prior experience in internal medicine and health equity preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous paid time off and holiday pay Academic faculty teaching environment with resident mentorship Opportunities for professional growth and leadership Supportive interdisciplinary team and innovative quality initiatives What You’ll Do Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track, mentoring residents and participating in curriculum development Provide evidence-based, population-centered internal medicine care in a value-based care clinic Collaborate with healthcare teams including care managers, social workers, pharmacists, and community partners Lead and participate in quality improvement projects and health equity research Utilize population health tools, risk stratification, and care coordination strategies Address social determinants of health and promote community-engaged, equitable clinical decision-making Support operational and clinical standards to improve patient outcomes and reduce disparities Engage in teaching, journal clubs, case conferences, and scholarly activities What You Need Required: Board Certified in Internal Medicine Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain Proven experience in internal medicine practice Strong commitment to health equity and quality improvement Preferred: Experience in value-based care models Academic or teaching experience in residency programs Skills in population health and care coordination About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to high-quality, community-centered healthcare.
