Qualifications:

-Valid Indiana Special Education teaching license or appropriate licensure required

-Experience working with students receiving mild interventions or special education services preferred

-Must be able to complete Teacher of Record responsibilities

-Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation

-Experience with progress monitoring and documentation

Schedule:

-Full-time position for the school year

-5th and 6th grade school building

-Push-in and pull-out instructional support

Responsibilities:

-Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students receiving mild interventions

-Deliver both push-in and pull-out special education services based on student needs

-Serve as the Teacher of Record and manage required special education responsibilities

-Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

-Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation

-Track student academic and behavioral progress and adjust instruction as needed

-Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, administrators, and families

-Support students in accessing the general education curriculum and meeting individualized goals

-Maintain compliance with school and special education requirements
