Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in trauma, neuro, vascular, ortho, and general surgery contexts.
• Facilitate a team environment and assist surgical teams with instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
• Participate in patient assessment pre- and post-operative, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication of patient needs.
• Manage call responsibilities, distributing shifts evenly as per schedule requirements.
• Float between like units as needed, upholding high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho cases.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including potential night duties and holiday coverage.
• Proven ability to float within hospital and among affiliated facilities.
