Ottumwa, Iowa Pay From: $58.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Pharmacist - Director Must have a Pharmacist License in Iowa Must have inpatient experience Must have management experience DUTIES: Pharmacist Director will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Develops clinical pharmacy programs according to policies and regulations Reviews records of patients to determine the appropriateness of medication therapy Evaluates patient's condition to ensure all issues are being treated Identifies untreated health problems and refer patients to appropriate physicians Develops effective medication plans that minimize the risk of adverse side-effects Consults on dosages, medication substances, etc. Advises on the correct administration of drugs Assesses the results of pharmaceutical treatments Collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Keeps accurate documentation of medication plans and patient progress Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
