About the role

We're a leading, technology-forward personal injury law firm, and our growth depends on hiring exceptional attorneys. We're looking for an Attorney Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for our prelitigation and litigation attorney roles at every level — from newly licensed associates to senior trial attorneys. You'll be the person who finds, engages, and closes legal talent that can carry a caseload and win. This is a hands-on, high-volume desk for someone who knows the legal market, moves fast, and uses data and modern tooling to recruit smarter.

What you'll do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for prelitigation and litigation attorney openings across all seniority levels, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and close.
• Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, indeed, ziprecruiter, bar association networks, referrals, legal job boards, and your own pipeline, not just inbound applicants.
• Run structured, efficient interview processes and keep candidates warm and moving; protect the candidate experience as a reflection of the firm's brand.
• Assess candidates for both legal capability and culture/role fit, including caseload readiness, trial/negotiation experience, and licensing status.
• Own your applicants tracking and recruiting tech stack, keep data clean, report on pipeline health.
• Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and realistic timelines.
• Ensure every step complies with California employment law, including salary-history and pay-transparency rules.

What you bring

• 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically recruiting attorneys.
• Demonstrated success filling legal roles at multiple levels, ideally within a law firm, legal staffing agency, or in-house legal talent team.
• Strong understanding of the attorney market — how to read a resume, evaluate litigation vs. prelitigation experience, and vet bar standing.
• Proficiency with an ATS and modern sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), and genuine comfort with a data-driven, tech-forward recruiting approach.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and closing skills; able to build trust with both candidates and demanding hiring partners.
• High sense of urgency and the organization to manage many open requisitions at once.

Preferred

• Experience recruiting for personal injury or other high-volume litigation practices.
• Familiarity with California legal labor markets and compensation norms.
• Exposure to recruiting automation, CRM, or sourcing analytics tools.
