Job Summary: Farmington, Connecticut Clinic (No Specific Specialty) The organization is seeking a Clinic healthcare professional to support medical oncology and hematology oncology outpatient operations. Responsibilities include answering phone-call triage needs and problem-solving in coordination with the clinical team to help meet patient care needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days (8-hour shifts), 8a5p; 40 hours per week; no weekends; no on call; no major holidays.
• Required Qualifications: CT license or compact on file at time of submission; knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the role; ability to work in a team environment; at least 2 years of experience; prior travel experience; experience with oncology patients; experience in outpatient ambulatory care/outpatient clinic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy immunotherapy provider card.
• Additional Information:
  • This position provides support within the medical oncology and hematology oncology coverage pool.
  • Incumbents may be required to lift and restrain patients, and may have exposure to communicable/infectious diseases and to risks of injury from assaultive/abusive clients.
  • Incumbents may work in close coordination with nursing in the chemotherapy infusion room, but do not directly cover or administer infusion therapies.
