Industrial Formulation & Blending Technician
Location: Portage, IN 46368
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
Compensation: $19.50 – $20.50/hr | Weekly Pay
Nexus Employment invites you to step into a hands-on role where precision and quality drive every batch. Picture your day starting with a clear production plan: you’ll review batch records, stage ingredients, and bring formulations to life for downstream manufacturing.
A day in the role- Gather, weigh, and blend raw materials precisely to batch recipes.
- Cook and finish batches so they’re production-ready on time.
- Interpret and follow batch records and production instructions accurately.
- Operate batching systems—both heated & non-heated—with care and consistency.
- Clean and sanitize all batching equipment to meet quality standards.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.
- Uphold safety and quality procedures at every step.
- Manufacturing or batch mixing experience (preferred, not required).
- Basic computer skills; PLC familiarity is a plus.
- Comfort with intermediate math and measurements.
- Clear, dependable communication.
- Self-directed, with the ability to work solo or collaborate with a team.
