VP of Treasury

Our client, an established company in the Richmond VA area is adding a VP of Treasury to their team. The company is well known and is experiencing a new phase of growth and development. They are looking for a Treasurer to build and lead the Treasury department. Strong experience with a publicly traded company as a Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is required. ( Only local candidates and those with strong ties to Richmond will be accepted at this time) Duties Align with parent company to develop and re-build the Treasury department. Work closely with top leadership on strategy. Establish processes and safeguards in the department. Manage global cash activities and liquidity. Work closely with various departments. Lead charge on investments. Spearhead banking relationships. Establish risk and fraud prevention protocol. Provide support on tax issues and compliance. Serve as key member of acquisition team and as an advisor on major endeavors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred. 10+ years of progressive treasury experience. Deep expertise in cash management, debt, and risk management. Private equity/public company experience preferred Strong global treasury and leadership experience.
