About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to join their team. The CAO will be responsible for fostering a culture of generosity, leading development efforts, and overseeing the external communications strategy. This role is pivotal in fundraising for the annual operating budget, capital needs, and comprehensive campaigns. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in development, with a preference for those who have worked with a ministry or other non-profit, and a strong background in executive leadership. A Bachelor's degree, CFRE or CAP certification, and a demonstrated compassion for marginalized populations are also key requirements. The ideal CAO for the company will possess an abiding, authentic, and growing Christian faith with an evangelical orientation, and a relational ministry-first mindset towards donors.
