Why You’ll Love This Role Competitive Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience and certifications Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with 5% company match Work-Life Balance: Enjoy 2 weeks of paid time off to start, 1 week of paid sick leave , and 12 paid holidays each year Professional Growth: Obtain additional certifications on the company’s dime and advance toward Senior Plumbing Inspector or Building Official roles High-Impact Work: Help ensure plumbing systems are installed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and standards across projects What You’ll Do Inspect plumbing systems and installations to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, plumbing codes, and safety standards Conduct inspections for water supply, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, gas piping, and related plumbing systems Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare timely, professional reports Address questions and concerns from clients and contractors while providing expert guidance on plumbing code requirements Participate in ongoing training and company initiatives Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing inspections TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License required in Texas Ability to read and interpret construction and plumbing plans Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn new inspection software Excellent communication and customer service skills About Aoka Aoka is a third-party municipal services provider serving federal, state, and local governments with code compliance, inspections, and consulting.
