Payroll Coordinator

Position Title: Payroll Coordinator

Location: Golden Valley, MN (only local candidates in MN will be considered. Weekly onsite presence required. Possible hybrid schedule after training)

Compensation: $27- $33 / Per hour dependent on applicable experience

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday

We're supporting a search for a Payroll Coordinator with a well-established Twin Cities organization and are looking to connect with payroll professionals who are ready for their next opportunity.

This role is ideal for someone with payroll experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Process and support payroll for a multi-state employee population
• Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
• Partner with HR and Finance on payroll-related processes

Qualifications:

• Previous payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
