MRI Technologist - Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce high-quality cross-sectional scans to create 3-dimensional images for Radiologists' interpretation. The ideal candidate will consistently obtain excellent imaging quality, maintain safety within MRI zones, and document patient care services accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner to produce detailed cross-sectional scans.
• Consistently obtain high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain a general understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its functionality.
• Ensure safety protocols within MRI zones are upheld.
• Document patient care services in hospital records accurately.
• Interact compassionately and effectively with patients who are sick or injured.
• Support and promote the values and mission of the organization.
• Engage in courteous interactions with co-workers and peers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Education: Associate's Degree Required
• Licensure: ARRT certified in Radiography and State of Maine Radiography License required.
• Certification: ARRT MRI certification preferred.

Schedule

This is a full-time Day Shift position.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
