IT Help Desk Technician

Salary: $42,640 - 58,760 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in IT help desk, desktop support, or technical support.
• We prefer candidates who have worked in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments.
• You should have strong troubleshooting ability with computers, printers, mobile devices, and common software tools.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, user account administration, and password management is required.
• A solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN access, and wireless connectivity is needed.
• You must be able to communicate technical information clearly to users with different levels of technical knowledge.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are expected.
• You should be able to manage multiple support requests and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent experience may be accepted.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar credentials are a plus.
• You must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and handle IT equipment installation or movement.
• You should be able to commute to Houston, TX 77051 and travel between our facilities as needed.

• We provide first-line technical support to employees by phone, email, remote access, and in person.
• We troubleshoot and resolve issues involving hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
• We support Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and other business-critical software used across our operations.
• We create, update, and maintain user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory and related systems.
• We install, configure, and deploy computers, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• We assist with onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation, account setup, and access administration.
• We keep accurate documentation of support tickets, troubleshooting actions, and resolutions in our ticketing system.
• We escalate complex issues to the right IT staff or external vendors and follow through to completion.
• We help with network troubleshooting, including connectivity, VPN, wireless access, and basic infrastructure support.
• We support cybersecurity efforts by following IT security policies and reporting possible security concerns.
• We travel between our facilities when needed to deliver on-site technical support.
• We maintain IT inventory and help track company assets.
• We follow company safety procedures while working in office and manufacturing settings.
