Responsibilities

• Position railcars for loading and unloading operations
• Connect and operate auger systems to facilitate product transfer
• Use hammers or vibrators to loosen sugar from railcar sides as needed
• Load, seal, jockey, and park trailers in designated areas
• Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, yard trucks, and rail car movers safely
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures as this is a designated safety-sensitive position
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience or training in safety procedures preferred
• Working knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in food production is a plus
• Ability to follow written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Basic reading, writing, and math abilities
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work under pressure with interruptions and deadlines
• Physical ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, perform repetitive actions, and lift up to 100 lbs
• Visual acuity to read instructions and operate machinery

Working Hours

• Standard hours: 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Overtime may be required based on company needs
• Employees are required to clock in 10 minutes before the start of the shift
