Internal Medicine Physician Is Wanted for Locum Tenens Coverage in AZ

South Tucson, AZ

  • Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm -- no weekends, no call
  • 18 - 20 scheduled clinic patients per day
  • Outpatient internal medicine clinic -- no hospital rounds
  • Patient mix: 75% adult, 25% adult geriatric
  • Vacancy coverage -- 2 PCPs resigned, ~2,200 patients displaced
  • EMR: Cerner (Ambulatory)
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Chronic disease management, acute care, and wellness visits
  • Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
  • Assignment details and time entry in online portal
  • Competitive compensation
