MercyOne Genesis is hiring a BC/BE Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director for our CARF-accredited 39-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This is an excellent leadership opportunity within a collaborative, high-quality rehab program.
Position Highlights
- Full-time Medical Director
- 2-year guaranteed salary $307,613
- Additional director & supervision compensation
- $100,000 recruitment incentive
- Up to $15,000 moving assistance
- 4 weeks PTO + 6 holidays + 1 week CME
- $6,000 CME allowance
- Comprehensive benefits + tail-covered malpractice
- PSLF-eligible
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a 39-bed CARF-accredited inpatient rehab unit
- Daily rounding with therapists, NPs, PAs, nurses, and hospitalists
- Oversee clinical quality & patient outcomes
- Work closely with a hospitalist team
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for Iowa license
- State/federal prescriptive authority
- H-1B cap-exempt candidate's welcome
