Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a medical facility located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level II-III NICU environment. The selected candidate will work night shifts and support the unit's staffing needs from October 19, 2026, to January 18, 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, minimum 1 year of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) with Level II-III or higher experience preferred, located within a reasonable distance of the facility, and relevant educational qualifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level III-IV NICU units and proficiency in procedures such as respiratory support, micro-premie care, and managing equipment like high-frequency oscillators, central lines, and conventional vents.
• Additional Information: The NICU currently has 41 beds and a team of approximately 60 staff members. Patient ratios include 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and occasionally 1:4. The unit primarily cares for preterm and critically ill neonatal patients, involving procedures like surgery (excluding head and heart surgeries), respiratory support, and ostomy care. The ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork-oriented personality traits.
