EXPERIENCED DAYTIME AND EVENING CAREGIVER | CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA

Experienced In-Home Caregiver – Daytime and Evening Shifts Cumberland County, PA | $17–$21/hour based on experience and client needs plus incentives We’re Looking for People We Can Count On. • Have 2+ years of experience caring for older adults in a home care or facility setting
• Take your scheduled shifts seriously
• Arrive on time and are prepared to work
• Communicate promptly when an issue arises
• Are comfortable working independently in a client's home
• Follow care plans and office instructions
• Notice changes in a client's condition, mood, or needs and communicate them appropriately
• Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
• Treat clients, families, and coworkers with professionalism and respect

What You'll Do As an in-home caregiver, you'll help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include:

• Companionship and meaningful engagement
• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Mobility and safety assistance
• Transportation to appointments, errands, or activities
• Following individualized care plans
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's needs
• Communicating appropriately with the office
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment for each client

Schedule We are currently seeking caregivers interested in daytime, evening, and overnight shifts. Most shifts fall between: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Occasional overnight opportunities may also be available. Schedules vary based on client needs, so please apply only if you are comfortable committing to the shifts you accept. Requirements Required:

• 2+ years of experience caring for older adults
• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Valid car insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Three strong professional references

Preferred:

• Previous in-home caregiving experience
• Experience with personal care
• Experience working with clients with dementia or other age-related conditions
• Experience communicating with families and care teams
