As of 1/1/2024, all new and returning agency staff must have completed training from one of the following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle (welletraining.com - Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI (crisisprevention.com).

Unit Details:

• Consist of mainly tele/cardiac patients
• Number of beds in unit: 16
• RN to patient ratio: 4:1
• Patient population: Adult - Geriatric
• Dress code: any color scrubs
• Remote Tele Unit
• Must be able to follow and comfortably the department expectations to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved!! No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better). Cancellation policy: Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13 week contract, must give 2 hour notice.

Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - no designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours. Multipliers (OT, Holidays): 1.25%. Call: (Not applicable to this need). Charge: (Not applicable to this need). • Must have Epic experience - [Required]
• 3 years experience - [Required]
• Strong proficiency & experience working on Cardiac/Tele, Med-Tele units - [Required]
• Previous travel experience: [Highly preferred]
• Must be able to comfortably follow the department expectations to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift
• Neuro/stroke experience [Highly preferred]
• Please disclose any previous Glens Falls Hospital (or Albany Med) experience on profile
• No block scheduling will be considered for this need

• Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. [Required]

Clinician must be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented. Unit profile requirements:

• Work history
• Skills checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 supervisory signed reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/certifications - must be uploaded with profile (current NY license, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)

Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.
