Early Childcare Teacher/Education

The Teacher is responsible for coordinating the curriculum, developing a cohesive teaching team, and managing daily classroom operations. The role requires an understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to maintain a safe, stimulating environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff, guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns. Responsibilities Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching Plan individual and group age‑appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth Maintain frequent communication with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent‑teacher conferences Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met Maintain a healthy classroom environment, including hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and security of children Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure adherence to planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards Maintain accurate records, forms, and files Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience Strong oral, written, and basic computer skills High energy and ability to work well with staff, children, and parents; fosters a team environment Strong understanding of child development Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification Clear full background check and pass health screening Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE Ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, and crawling as required Specific vision ability required, including near and distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, and depth perception Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Nice to Haves CDA or Childcare Associate Degree Benefits Competitive compensation Medical plan available Biweekly pay Available hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Bonus incentive after employment #J-18808-Ljbffr Acquire4Hire
