Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supplies Coordinator to support supply operations throughout the lifecycle . In this role, you will assist with the coordination, inventory management, storage, labeling, distribution, and accountability of investigational drugs, comparators, ancillary supplies, and medical devices. You will ensure all activities are performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and client requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in clinical supplies, pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, or regulated healthcare environments and possesses strong organizational, documentation, and inventory management skills. Key Responsibilities Support daily clinical supply operations for assigned clinical studies. Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory, and distribution of investigational products, comparators, ancillary supplies, and medical devices. Process study drug orders and ensure timely shipment to clinical sites and depots. Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock to support ongoing clinical trials. Track expiration dates and coordinate replacement of expiring materials. Assist with drug returns, reconciliation, accountability, and destruction activities. Inventory & Documentation Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory management systems. Generate and maintain monthly inventory status reports and metrics. Print and apply study labels according to protocol and regulatory requirements. Ensure all study documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready. Update clinical supply databases with shipment, inventory, and accountability information. Logistics & Administrative Support Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics activities for clinical supplies. Arrange procurement of additional study materials and supplies as needed. Support cross-functional teams by providing inventory updates and supply status. Assist with department administrative tasks, documentation, filing, and reporting. Participate in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives. Compliance & Quality Ensure all clinical supply activities comply with GMP, GCP, GDP, company SOPs, ICH guidelines, and client requirements. Complete required training on new regulations and quality procedures. Maintain accurate records to support internal audits, client audits, and regulatory inspections. Identify and report inventory discrepancies or quality issues promptly. Follow proper handling procedures for temperature-sensitive and controlled materials. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or technical certification preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical supplies, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech, laboratory operations, healthcare logistics, or inventory management. Experience working in a regulated GMP/GCP/GDP environment is preferred. Knowledge of inventory management systems and electronic documentation.
