Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading commercial real estate and facilities services organization, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Management team supporting building operations and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive customer service mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician Location: 4665 Cornell Road, Cincinnati, OH 45241, United States Pay Range: $29.00 - $31.00/hour Schedule: Monday to Friday (Shift 1) Contract type: Contract to hire (potential extension) What’s the Job? Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently. Inspect facilities for safety hazards and ensure compliance with company safety standards. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair projects. What’s Needed? 5-7 years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience. Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve maintenance issues efficiently. Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions. What’s in it for me?
