Credit AnalystLocation: San Jose, CA Pay: $28-$32/hr Employment Type: Contract Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pmWe are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support Accounts Receivable and credit operations. This position will work closely with the Credit/AR Manager and Sales team to manage customer accounts, resolve billing issues, monitor outstanding balances, and support credit decisions.The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Collections experience, strong communication skills, and is comfortable working with financial systems, reporting, and customer account reconciliations.Key ResponsibilitiesReview AR aging reports and follow up on past-due invoicesReconcile customer accounts and research billing/payment discrepanciesPost wire payments and process account adjustments and credit refundsInvestigate and resolve customer inquiries and account irregularitiesReview payment history and sales forecasts to support credit limit recommendationsReview and approve credit memos and RMA requestsAssist with credit risk analysis and customer account managementPrepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including cash forecasts and aging reportsPartner with Sales, Finance, and other departments to resolve account issuesSupport additional Credit and AR projects as neededQualifications2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or a similar accounting/finance roleBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredExperience with AR aging, account reconciliation, collections, and cash applicationStrong Excel and general ERP/accounting systems experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances and account issuesAbility to work independently while collaborating across departments
