Emergency Room NurseWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our healthcare team in the Glenbrook region. This position will involve providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.Assess and monitor patients' conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.Perform and document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Assist in coordinating care among various healthcare team members.Schedule DetailsThis position requires availability for:12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.A minimum of 36 hours per week.Every other weekend shifts.Holidays as needed.Experience RequirementsA minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.A successful completion of an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher, to be submitted upon application.Ability to pass an EKG test on the first day of employment.Licensure and Certification RequirementsActive Illinois nursing license.CPR and ACLS certifications.NIH Stroke certification.PALS certification.TNCC or TNS certification.Additional InformationThis Emergency Room primarily serves an elderly population and has a significant focus on cardiovascular care. The facility treats approximately 3,000 patients monthly and includes pediatric patients within its service offerings.
