Childcare Staff - Before & After School

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our Before and After School Program for the 2025‑2026 school year. Job Details Job Status: Part‑time, non‑exempt Location: Edgewood Pre‑k Academy, Bristol, CT Positions Available: Childcare Program Staff Pay: $16.94 – $18.44 per hour Hours: 7:00–9:00 am and 2:40–5:30 pm Featured Benefit: Employer‑Paid Childcare for children 5‑12 who are enrolled in the program during work hours Responsibilities Facilitate hands‑on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework assistance. Provide a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program. Arrive on time and be prepared to stay until the last child leaves the program. Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App. Observe and follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies. Perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing when required. Minimum Qualifications 18 years or older with high‑school diploma or equivalent. Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13. Medically cleared of any communicable disease, including TB. Warm, friendly, upbeat with excellent people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt. Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and keep up with children.
