This role is responsible for conducting voice of business/customer to identify new business opportunities and develop value propositions and associated requirements for hardware, software, and services. This role leads the product launches and is responsible for providing strategic ownership of the NPD pipeline, by defining the key trends and technology roadmap for the DICKEY-john business. The Sr. Global Product Manager is a key member of the DICKEY-john leadership team that sets business objectives and communicates internally to cross functional partners, including senior management, and externally to key customers. This position collaborates closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and others in the definition and execution of planned initiatives, designed to optimize growth and profitability of TSI’s Agriculture products.What Will You Do?In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will:Lead the development and maintenance of the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline for the DICKEY-john business, including short-, medium-, and long-term projectsIdentify trends within the Ag and adjacent industries, and develop actionable insights for strategic decision makingDefine, create, and execute primary and secondary market research to evolve and support new product development conceptsProvide business and project leadership throughout the product development process, partnering cross-functionally to achieve and exceed objectivesLead product launch planning, execution, and support with key customers, industries, and other partnersPartner with Sales to present concepts and ideas to key customers, answering questions and supporting strategic platform development virtually and in-person, when requiredSupport business development through opportunities assessment, valuation, communication, and future planningPartner with marketing communications and downstream marketing to design and deliver strategic messaging through market and customer-facing activitiesWhat Do You Need?RequiredBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering/Science7+ years progressive Product Management with demonstrated expansion of responsibilityComplex project leadership in a matrixed organizationStrong strategic thinking and collaborative leadership skillsComfort with ambiguity and ability to independently prioritizeExcellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skillsEffective and influential presentation skillsUnderstanding of Strategic Market Plans, voice of customer work, marketing frameworks, competitive assessments, pricing tools and techniquesP&L Management experienceGlobal marketplace experienceDesiredMBAB2B experience or working with OEMsEngineering, Instrumentation, and/or Operational experienceExperience in Precision Agricultural Technology, agronomics, sensors, monitors, and control systemsTravelUp to 20%, including internationalWhat Can We Give You?At TSI, our employees are our most valuable assets, and we care about their health and happiness.
