Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and proficient Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging team that is committed to delivering top-notch patient care. Your use of advanced ultrasound technology will not only enable vital diagnostic services but also foster a sense of reassurance among patients and their families through prompt and accurate imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound studies, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations by clearly communicating each step of the process with empathy
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure the efficient functioning of imaging equipment and report any technical issues promptly
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic health system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and clinical practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
