Registered Nurse - Inpatient Acute Psychiatric UnitThis position is a night shift role from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.This is a 13-week contract position.The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. The RN executes the nursing process to provide effective, evidence-based care, including the assessment, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community.ResponsibilitiesFollows the organization's mission, vision, and values with integrity and compassion.Involves patients and families in establishing care goals.Implements interventions to achieve care goals with resourceful team involvement.Facilitates connections between patients, families, and other disciplines as needed.Demonstrates competence in technical skills required for patient care.Acts as a resource for others and remains current on policies and procedures.Evaluates care effectiveness based on the attainment of care goals.Utilizes critical thinking skills to make appropriate clinical decisions.Recognizes the importance of research and evidence-based practices in nursing.Demonstrates leadership at the point of care through advocacy and collaboration.Remains flexible in supporting patients, families, and teammates as needed.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureActive state RN license is required.Centralus Skills Checklist and Core Competency Exam for onboarding.Various health history documentation including vaccinations and tests.Background check and other documentation as required for onboarding.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
