Position: Medical Scribe (bilingual in Spanish!) Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: $19/hr Responsibilities: Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatments accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) Assist the healthcare provider with charting, order entry, and other administrative tasks as needed Translate for the healthcare provider during patient encounters as necessary Ensure that all documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the clinic's policies and procedures Maintain patient confidentiality at all times Attend meetings and training sessions as required Requirements: Fluency in Spanish and English Ability to type at least 50 words per minute Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to work on-site at the clinic in Wilmington, CA This is a contract role through an agency, AMI Network , with the potential for ongoing opportunities.
