Job Description

Clinical Director is responsible for the overall leadership, oversight, and quality of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services provided in-center and home-based settings across multiple states. This role ensures the highest standards of clinical care, compliance, and ethical practice while fostering professional development of clinical staff. The Clinical Director will be a strategic leader, guiding the growth of services while maintaining a family-centered approach. As a member of the Leadership Team, the Clinical Director plays an active role in company-wide strategic decision-making and holds shared responsibility for the organization’s overall commitment to care.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership & Oversight
  Provide clinical oversight and supervision to Regional Directors and other clinical team members as needed.
• Ensure treatment plans and programming are evidence-based, individualized, and aligned with best practice standards.
• Monitor client progress, data integrity, and treatment fidelity through regular audits and reviews.
• Maintain consistent communication with families to support treatment goals and overall satisfaction.
• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of clinical policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with CASP accreditation standards across all programs and locations.

• Leadership, Management & Accountability
  Serve as the primary point of escalation for family and employee concerns across all clinical operations, ensuring timely, compassionate, and resolution-focused responses.
• Model and uphold organizational values, holding clinical staff accountable to performance expectations and standards of care.
• As a key member of the Leadership Team, actively participate in company-wide strategic planning, contribute to high-level decisions that shape the direction of the organization, and champion the overall commitment to delivering exceptional care across all services.

• Program Development & Quality Assurance
  Establish, implement, and monitor clinical policies and procedures across in-center and home-based programs.
• Develop quality assurance initiatives, including outcome measurement, peer review, and clinical audits.
• Lead state-by-state compliance efforts with insurance, licensing, and accreditation bodies.
• Stay current with industry developments and integrate innovative approaches to ABA therapy.

• Staff Training & Development
  Recruit, mentor, and retain clinical staff, ensuring appropriate caseload distribution.
• Provide ongoing training in ABA methodologies, ethics, supervision, and professional growth.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and create individualized professional development plans.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical excellence.

• Multi-State Operations & Compliance
  Oversee clinical service delivery across multiple states, ensuring compliance with varying state regulations and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to support efficient scheduling, billing, and staffing needs.
• Partner with executive leadership to expand services, including new center openings and home-based program growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Current Licensed BCBA certification (required).
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in ABA or related behavioral health field.
• Experience with supervision and mentorship of Practicum students
• Strong knowledge of insurance-funded ABA, multi-site operations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel across states to support clinical teams and centers.
