Property Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and tenant accounts Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including rent rolls and collections Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned properties Track and report on capital expenditures and tenant improvement projects Work closely with property management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Support year-end audit processes and tax reporting requirements Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of property accounting experience within the real estate industry (required) Strong understanding of real estate accounting concepts, including CAM reconciliations and lease structures Experience managing a portfolio of properties (commercial, multifamily, or mixed-use preferred) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar) and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work onsite in Newtown Square, PA, five days per week Compensation: $75,000-$05,000 Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision PTO is offered on an accrual basis Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law If you are interested in this position or any other Accounting and Finance career opportunities, please apply and contact Kellie Sclafani at View email address on click.appcast.io.
