Forklift Mechanic

Warehouse Equipment TechnicianResponsible for maintaining the organization's warehouse equipment.Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Company provides: Tool allowance, boot allowance and uniform.Duties and Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and Raymond lift trucks.Perform all assigned planned maintenance on organizations lift trucks, batteries and accessories.Maintain MHE parts inventory and shop.Process work order in Maintenance software after completion of each job.Education Required:High School Diploma or equivalentExperience Required:3+ years of experience with good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment, electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.Technical Skills and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.Language Requirements:EnglishPhysical Demands:Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.The associate must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 - 90 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
