Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2105.28/week - Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and effective treatment. Supervises nursing staff, coordinates with interdisciplinary teams, and utilizes critical thinking to deliver high-quality emergency care. Responsibilities: Deliver urgent and ongoing nursing interventions aligning with established protocols. Supervise and direct nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care standards. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to assess and develop care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment options, discharge instructions, and health maintenance. Document patient assessments, care activities, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record. Participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless continuity of care post-visit. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice. Possess BLS certification from an approved vendor. Obtain and maintain ACLS and PALS certifications from authorized agencies. Have at least two years of recent emergency nursing experience. Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health record systems.
