Overview Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D) | Reedley, California | Start 10/12/2026 | Travel assignment for 13 weeks | $2,623–$2,660 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week | Night shift (3x12-hour nights) Work setting: a rural, acute care facility with a 49-bed bed capacity in a critical access hospital environment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,623–$2,660 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3x per week Start date: 10/12/2026 Setting: Rural, critical access hospital environment Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients using established standards and the nursing process Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care; respond to emergencies as needed Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with obstetricians, anesthesia, and neonatal teams Develop and implement care plans; document assessments, interventions, and outcomes; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education Collaborate with the treatment team to provide a safe, healing environment and ensure smooth shift handoffs; maintain EPIC documentation Requirements Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and/or ARC-ALS; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ARC-NALS required Experience: Minimum two years of recent RN experience in obstetric/acute care settings; EPIC experience required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Additional: Ability to work in a rural, acute care hospital setting; strong critical thinking and teamwork skills Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support Extension opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
