Step into a rewarding full-time position serving pediatric populations in an on-site school environment near Des Plaines, IL. This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are dedicated to supporting children’s communication development and are open to travel assignments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Prior experience or strong interest in pediatric care and school-based settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt clinical strategies to the needs of diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to children in a school setting
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication or swallowing disorders
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support students’ academic and social success
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with regulations
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute goal recommendations
