Legal Secretary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Secretary to support attorneys in Bonita Springs. This role offers an opportunity to support legal professionals and ensure the seamless operation of the office. The role is open due to a retirement, after 20+ years with the firm. Client Details This long standing trust and estates firm has an excellent reputation for collaborative culture and excellent service for their clients. This is an onsite position in their Bonita Springs office. Description Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail. Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible. Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for attorneys and legal staff. Manage incoming calls, emails, and other communications, providing prompt and professional responses. Assist in court filings, including electronic submissions, and ensure compliance with deadlines. Handle billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conduct basic legal research and gather necessary case-related information as needed. Support additional administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations. Profile A successful Legal Secretary should have: Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software applications. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A proactive and resourceful attitude with the ability to work independently. Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures. Job Offer Competitive annual salary between $60,000 and $70,000.
