Shipping Clerk
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage outgoing shipments and ensure accurate, timely deliveries. In this fast-paced role, you will prepare shipping documentation, package products according to company standards, and coordinate directly with carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and bills of lading.
- Safely package outgoing products following standard operating procedures.
- Schedule carrier pickups, track deliveries, and verify shipping contact details.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs, records, and documentation.
- Assist with warehouse inventory control and routine cycle counts.
- Follow all company shipping/receiving protocols and workplace safety rules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency, including comfort using shipping software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Physical capability to lift, push, and move heavy packages.
- Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Forklift certification and experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) are a plus.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
