Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Job Description

Drexel Chemical Company is a leading manufacturer of agricultural chemical products, operating 7 plants in the downtown Memphis area.

This position is responsible for:

completing production and shipping paperwork accurately, including batch sheets, bills of lading, and inventory count sheets.
assisting with administering safety training to all employees,
submitting completed new hire paperwork to the corporate human resources department
assisting management with all aspects of the clerical administration of the plant operation.
Must have previous Shipping/Receiving in a warehouse environment
MUST operate a Forklift!!
Mon-Fri 8a-5pm with occasional OT

The ideal candidate would have intermediate clerical skills; the ability to follow detailed instructions and learn new processes quickly; and a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
